The Hockey Marathon was a smashing success finishing with the final buzzer sounding at exactly:
246 Hours & 2 minutes.
After presenting a cheque to the Alberta Children's Hospital
Foundation for $1.4 Million dollars during the closing ceremonies, the
marathon continues to receive donations, and by the morning we had
surpassed our goal of $1.5 Million.. And eventually over $1.6M!
Thanks to all the volunteers, The town of Chestermere, The Rec
Centre, the sponsors, and every single fan person who made the Hockey
Marathon the World-Class, World-Changing World Record Breaking event
that it was!
